Meet Dr. Chahal
Dr. Chahal has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of dentistry. She achieved her D.D.S. degree from New York University (NYU). She practiced as a full-time dentist in Alberta before moving to British Columbia.
Dr. Chahal treats her patients in a calm and caring manner. She believes in providing her patients with the best possible treatment options and regularly attends continuing education courses. Dr. Chahal is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC), and British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA).
She received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree from the Government Medical and Dental College, Punjabi University, India. Dr. Chahal enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, and outdoor fun.
Meet Dr. Lee
Dr. Hannah Lee grew up in Vancouver, then moved to Alberta in 2004 to pursue her studies at the University of Alberta, where she earned her degree in biological sciences in 2008. She then went on to earn her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from New York University in 2012. She is passionate about dentistry and her patients; comfort and satisfaction have always been her number one priority.
Dr. Lee also focuses on empowering her patients through education and involving them with decisions regarding their dental treatment. She also loves keeping up-to-date in dentistry by attending various courses, seminars, and conferences.
Dr. Lee enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry, but her focus lies on surgery, including wisdom teeth extractions, root canal treatments, and restorations. She speaks English and Korean.
In her free time, Dr. Lee likes to travel, hike, and read good books.
Meet Cathie, Receptionist CDA – Certified Dental Assistant
Cathie has been in the dental profession for over 30 years. She enjoys helping patients manage their dental care. She loves spending time with her family camping, boating, and golfing. Cathie is an avid hockey fan.
Meet Ivan, RDH – Registered Dental Hygienist
Ivan acquired his dental hygiene degree in 2007 from Toronto, Ontario. He has been working with this office since then. He is highly committed to his work. He is married and has two children. He likes outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, skiing, and road trips to see different places.
Meet Faaiza, CDA - Certified Dental Assistant
Faaiza graduated as a certified dental assistant from CDI College in 2018. She has been working with us the last 6 years and enjoys interacting with patients and making them feel welcome in the office. ​

In her spare time, you can find her camping, shopping, or eating with friends and family.
Meet Amitoj, RDH – Registered Dental Hygienist
Amitoj completed her studies in dental hygiene from Toronto. She now works with our office in providing preventive treatments and educating patients in oral health and prevention.
In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking BC's beautiful mountains, and volunteering with her Girl Guides unit!
Meet Gary, Office Manager
Gary has been a part of Opal Dental for many years. He has assumed a growing role as office manager as the practice has expanded. Gary played a key role in the relocation of our office, and his experience in real estate helped us find this gem of a location. He supervised the whole project from design, permits, construction, and installation of all our new equipment. He manages the business side of the practice (AP and AR), payroll, IT, and marketing and manages the upkeep of all office and dental equipment.

Outside of work, Gary loves to spend his free time outdoors with activities such as hiking, camping, and off-roading.
